Connoisseur's Collection: Lofting Iron

$350

The maker's stamp (if any ever existed) has been obliterated from this club by the excessive use which it has seen. Surprisingly for this type of iron, the shaft appears to be original although the grip is certainly a modern replacement. The concave design of the face suggests it could have been forged as early as 1865.
